Brigitte HartmannBrigitte Hartmann, L.Ac. is the owner of Artemesia Center for Acupuncture & Natural Medicine. She offers a unique blend of clinical therapies intended to maximize treatment options. The combination of Chinese Medicine, Functional Nutrition, and European Biological Medicine make the best of Eastern and Western Therapies available for diagnosis and treatment.

Brigitte has been involved in integrated medicine for over 30 years. She started out as a nutritionist, developing dietary plans in a treatment center for the handicapped in Munich, Germany.

When she made a remarkable recovery from chronic bronchitis in just 8 Acupuncture visits, she decided to follow her call to study Chinese Medicine, and graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture in 1991. She is licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Medicine.

Brigitte studied European Biological Medicine with Dr. Thomas Rau, MD and was certified in 2000. She has completed 100+ hours of studies in Functional Nutrition, is certified in the NAET Allergy Elimination, as well as Lymphatic Drainage. From her extensive pharmacy, she offers Western and Chinese herbs as well as selected Homeopathic remedies.

Today, hundreds of patients are finding long-term relief from conditions such as asthma, sinusitis, chronic fatigue, chronic pain, gastrointestinal disorders, arthritis, hormonal imbalances, and headaches. through a balanced fusion of Western and Eastern therapies.

Brigitte believes that wellness is achieved by getting to the root of a problem. The Northboro based health center is dedicated to providing integrative treatment which goes well beyond symptoms. In the synthesis of Eastern and Western therapies, patients are assisted in finding true well-being.
